How to Submit Banking Details to Sassa

To submit your banking details, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the official Sassa website: srd.sassa.gov.za.
  2. Choose between the ID holder or asylum seeker option.
  3. Click on “Submit banking details” and enter your ID number.
  4. Click the submit button to receive an OTP message from Sassa.
  5. Click on the secure website link provided and submit your banking details.

Changing Your Sassa Banking Details

If you need to update your banking details, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Sassa SRD website and select “How do I change my banking details.”
  2. Enter your ID number and retrieve the OTP code sent to your mobile.
  3. Click on the secure website link provided and enter your new banking details.
  4. Sassa will verify your details and update your banking information for future payments.

Before submitting or changing your banking details, please note the following:

  • Banking details must be in your name.
  • The mobile phone number used for registration must also be registered in your name.
