Check SASSA Grant Status- Old Age Grant (under 75 years): Increased from R2,180 (April 2024) to R2,190.
- Old Age Grant (75 years and older): Increased from R2,200 (April 2024) to R2,210.
- War Veteran’s Grant: Now R2,210, up from R2,200 in April 2024.
- Disability Grant: Increased to R2,190 from R2,180 in April 2024.
- Care Dependency Grant: Raised to R2,190 from R2,180 in April 2024.
These adjustments follow an increase in April 2024, reflecting the government’s ongoing efforts to improve the welfare of grant recipients.
Payment Schedule for October 2024
The payment schedule for social grants in October 2024 is:
- Older Persons’ Grants: Payments will start on October 2, 2024, including any linked grants.
- Disability Grants: Payments will begin on October 3, 2024, covering any linked grants.
